The International Animation Festival in Japan HIROSHIMA will celebrate its 25th anniversary when it is held this year from 7-11 August. A competition is being held to coincide with the event. Judges include Swiss artist Otto Alder and Japanese animation director Kotaro Sato.

The Japan Jewellery Festival will be held 1-3 September, 2010, at Tokyo Big Sight. Last year, 360 exhibitors from 18 countries exhibited for the enjoyment of around 15,000 people.
