Agency for Cultural Affairs secures record funds for 2010, despite stricter budget-making process

At the end of last year it was announced that the Agency for Cultural Affairs would be allocated 102 billion yen (AUD$ 1.2 billion) for fiscal 2010 – the highest annual budget it has ever received.

Japan Jewellery Festival 2010

The Japan Jewellery Festival will be held 1-3 September, 2010, at Tokyo Big Sight. Last year, 360 exhibitors from 18 countries exhibited for the enjoyment of around 15,000 people. Skip City International D-Cinema Festival

23rd Koizumi International Lighting Design Competition for Students

A competition aimed at “improving the culture of lighting design and to develop young new talent.” Entrants must have been students at an institute of learning as of 1 September, 2009.
